MHS’s Tulip Mania features 50,000 blooming tulips. Inspired by spring color and Dutch tulip fields, rows of bright blooms and colorful mixes make for the perfect photo backdrop. This exclusive Boston Design Week event features Katie Murphy, owner and creative director of Bloom52 Floral Co, who will guide you through creating the perfect tulip bouquet. You’ll create a custom tulip bouquet, complete with hand-picked blooms of your choice and complimentary spring bouquet paper wrap and ribbon. She will also be giving a short demonstration, creating a mono-bloom tulip arrangement, offering tips and tricks to maximize each tulip's visual impact in the arrangement. Food and drinks (wine/beer) will be provided by Pepper's Catering and is included with admission.

Massachusetts Horticultural Society’s Garden at Elm Bank seeks to engage guests with the importance of plants, gardens and natural landscapes in their lives and help them to become active growers and gardeners themselves. As America’s first established horticultural society, we have been practicing horticulture ‘for the public good’ since 1829. In addition to Tulip Mania (April-May), the Garden will host Butterflies in Bloom (a butterfly house exhibit opening in May), Sunflower and Dahlias fields, and the New England Fall Flower Show (September 21-22).
