Honor and Memorial Gifts
Massachusetts Horticultural Society has many ways in which to honor the anniversary, birthday, or memory of a loved one. Your gift will help Mass Hort encourage the science and practice of horticulture and develop the public’s enjoyment, appreciation, and understanding of plants and the environment.
Memorial Tribute Gifts
You can honor a loved one by making a tax-deductible donation. We will send a notecard acknowledging your gift to the person/family at your request. (link to Donate Online)
Bequests create a lasting legacy. Additionally, you may designate Massachusetts Horticultural Society as a beneficiary of insurance policies or retirement plans, or make a donation in the form of stocks and bonds. (link to Planned Giving)
Additional Tribute Opportunities and Donation Amounts
A plaque inscribed with your personalized dedication will be placed on a teak bench and placed in The Gardens at Elm Bank. $5,000 (need a different bench photo with plaque)
A list of seasonal trees will be sent to you upon receipt of your donation. The chosen tree will be will be planted in The Gardens at Elm Bank and dedicated with a plaque on a plant sign. The tree will remain dedicated for the life of the plant. $2,500 (need a better photo)
Library Book Plate
One of the oldest horticultural libraries in America, the Massachusetts Horticultural Society Library offers an elegant book plate in your donated book. $250. (need a photo)
