Tickets for the 17th Annual Festival of Trees (November 28 - December 29, 2025) will go on sale in October 2025.
Get first access and discounts on tickets by becoming an MHS Member!
For all MHS programs and events, your Membership ID is needed to grant access to member pricing. You can find your ID number on your membership card. If you can't locate your ID number, please respond to this email or contact our membership department at membership@masshort.org.
To secure your Membership Discount:
- Select your date and timeslot, then click the orange "Tickets" button
- Type "FOT" followed by your membership ID (Ex. FOT123456) in the promo code box
- Click apply
- Add your tickets to your cart
* Individual Members can purchase 1 ticket at the Member rate; Dual Members may purchase 2 tickets at the Member rate; Supporter Members and above may purchase 4 tickets at the Member rate. Additional tickets must be purchased at the non-member rate as "Adult" tickets. Individual members who wish to upgrade their membership to purchase more member tickets should contact membership@masshort.org.
Tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable. Please ensure you're able to attend your selected date and time before purchasing your tickets.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your designated time to ensure a stress-free experience. The 30-minute time slot listed on your ticket purchase is your entry window. Once you enter the event, you are welcome to stay as long as you please until the event closes for the day, which is up to two hours after the last entry time that day.
Unsafe or extreme weather will cancel this event. In the event we have to cancel due to weather, we will offer a full refund or an alternative date to return to the show. If we do not officially cancel the event, tickets are still valid for the reserved entry date and time.
Each time slot has a limited number of tickets. You may purchase as many tickets that are available in your chosen slot. As this is our largest annual fundraiser and we are a nonprofit organization, we are unable to offer group ticket discounts. We appreciate your understanding and support, which helps us continue our mission.

Additional tickets should be purchased at the non-member rate. If you wish to upgrade your membership to purchase more tickets, please contact membership@masshort.org. Please note: membership upgrade requests are only able to be fulfilled on weekdays during staffed office hours. Please allocate enough time in advance to upgrade your membership.
There is free paved/dirt lot parking on site. All parking is within 150 yards of the entrance.
Yes. Access ramps are in place for several entrances. Please contact us if you have any concerns or particular needs. Due to smaller spaces and maneuvering among the displays we recommend NOT bringing a stroller.
Children under 2 are free, but please include free "Kids 2 and under" tickets in your ticket reservation. Please note: s'mores kits and hot chocolate is only included with paid tickets.
No, we are unable to accommodate dogs due to the nature of the event.
Outside food is not allowed at this event, however if you do have an allergy or dietary restriction we recommend bringing your own s'mores supplies or hot chocolate. Food trucks will be on-site during certain days, please check our website or social media for updates.
There will be food trucks available for purchase on most days. Please check our social media for the most up-to-date schedule of food trucks (Instagram | Facebook).
The event will take place indoors and outdoors with outdoor walking between buildings and to view garden lights. Please dress for these outdoor transitions and experiences.
By entering an event or program of Massachusetts Horticultural Society (MHS), you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur.
Your entry and presence on the event premises constitute your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with MHS and its initiatives, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news and advertising.
By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media.
You understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent.
Tickets will be for sale on-site, $10 for a sheet of 26 tickets. We accept cash and card.
More raffle details will be provided when you purchase raffle tickets at the event.
Thank you for thinking of Festival of Trees as a holiday celebration for your group. As this is our largest annual fundraiser and we are a nonprofit organization, we are unable to offer group ticket discounts. We appreciate your understanding and support, which helps us continue our mission.
