Tour the Beech; Learn about the Fagaceae Family

September 7 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

No swimsuits necessary; we will be touring the many beautiful and fully mature majestic trees from the Fagaceae family. View one of the most spectacular cooper beech (Fagus sylvatica purpurea) hedges in New England. Learn about their unusual catogory as being a marcescent tree. Tips and information on how you can use and care for these trees in your landscape.
