Ethnobotany: Humans & Their Use of Plants – Virtual Lecture

October 29 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

People use plants for food of course, but also medicine, shelter, clothing, decoration, fuel, packaging – the list seems endless. We’ll talk about how the move from hunter-gatherer to agriculture and then industrial agriculture fundamentally changed everything about our lives and the world around us. We’ll look ahead and discuss how the choices we make as consumers influence the future of agriculture and the environment. Virtual Lecture via Zoom.
