Thank you for supporting Mass Hort!

Massachusetts Horticultural Society relies on gifts from individuals, just like you. Your support allows us to deliver our mission each and every day.

Public gardens such as The Gardens at Elm Bank are a gateway to horticulture for adults and children. Stewardship of this beautiful space and our outreach and educational activities could not be possible without your support.

We are growing!  And in order to nurture this new growth, we need your help. Please donate to our Annual Fund. Your gift will help us connect people to plants and the natural world. Your support boosts important programs like these:

Youth Education:  Our Plantmobile (a travelling science classroom) engages thousands of kids in plant science at more than 50 schools and parks annually. This year, we’ve added staff to reach even more children.

Fun for Kids: And at The Gardens at Elm Bank this summer, we are adding more children’s programs, including: Frogs, Bogs & Polliwogs, Collecting Seeds, and How Trees Get Ready for Fall, to name just a few. Your gift helps us reach a new generation of gardeners and environmentalists!

Sustainability:  Last year we introduced the Community Supported Horticulture initiative, which teaches the teachers who are running school and community gardens. We are expanding this program through a collaborative effort with the Massachusetts Teacher’s Association.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters like you, we are able to encourage the science and practice of horticulture and develop the public’s enjoyment, appreciation, and understanding of plants and the environment. Thank you for your support!
