Where: Putnam Building at the Gardens at Elm Bank
Leaves and flowers placed on specially treated fabric, and then steamed, release their pigments to create realistic prints on the fabric. Fiber artist, Mary DeLano, will teach students about which plants print reliably and will experiment with others. Each student will take home four printed pieces of fabric, including one silk scarf and one vintage table linen (materials included).
